The University of the Virgin Islands libraries, in partnership with the Virgin Islands Library Association, was awarded $73,000 from the Institute of Museums and Library Services, (IMLS). The grant was used to train professional librarians and library personnel in the Virgin Islands. The workshops incorporated hands-on training sessions to create web sites for each local library and instructional modules to help librarians deliver effective information instruction in their institutions. Included here is documentation of the funded activities and the results of the training provided.
